    I got some 2 pack paint on my hands, nothing major but nothing seems to shift it. Anyone any ideas?

    Have a look at the MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) for the brand in question,there should be something there.

    Let it dry and pick off :D.

    Thinners strong enough to remove it wouldn't be the healthiest option.

    Its serious stuff. Started with the best of intentions but gloves got torn etc. Tried white spirit, thinners etc but no good really. Eventually got most of it with washing powder and elbow grease. Ive no hands left now though :)

    I saw Sodium Carbonate (washing soda) mentioned somewhere in conjunction with removing 2K paint - a site similar to this one;

    http://www.hse.gov.uk/pubns/guidance/mr3.pdf

    I think washing powder(that you used) is basically sodium carbonate.

    The dodgy stuff in 2K is the hardner - isocyanate, and DuPont's MSDS for this chemical only mentions cleaning it from skin using "soap and water";

    http://pc.dupont.com/dpc/en/US/html/visitor/common/pdfs/b/product/dr/MSDS/US_en_GNRC_12-0_RFN.pdf

    Also, it is not recommended to use thinners to clean skin.

    Glad you got sorted Mick!

    Goes straight to the liver apparently. I used to work with a lad who cleaned his face with it:eek:. Don't think he'd much of a liver left though.
