I had a W124 repaired with Benjamin Lichtenberg a few years ago, a neighbour reversed out of her driveway into the front corner of my 94 estate as I was driving past. Needed a new wing, bonnet, bumper repair, lights, and painting. Terrific work and I'd be happy to recommend him to anyone. Apart from that bodywork job, I've had all mechanical work done on my W124 estates and 190E by Ben for the last 5 years, you won't find a better or more honest chap. He's also recently moved into a new workshop in the same location that has a brand new paint booth attached so painting can be done on site now.

i haven't had any bodywork done by Lichtenberg Classics, but similar to quenching above, Ben carried out all the mechanical work on my recently departed W123 there for 5 years ( i purchased it from Prestige classic car sales, based at the same location)
Top quality work, and a good guy to deal with. I can imagine that bodywork would be of the same high quality

Does Ben actually do the bodywork himself? Ben is a very honest and capable man, but i'd avoid any dealings with Mervyn.

Wow thats pretty strong, Can you be more explicit in your opinion as I was not aware of anyone of that opinion of me or my work, if anything quite the opposite which I am proud to say.
