So like a lot of people I missed the visas last week.
I have applied for two graduate jobs in Calgary.
If i get the job,is there still a way to get a work permit?

You could apply for the FSW visa. I'm going to look into this too. I'm not sure how long it takes to get or how long it is valid for but will have a dig around for more info...

Lots of ways to still get to Canada, all require you securing a job in order to to get the process started:

    Try the PNP route:

    http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/provincial/index.asp

    LMO and TWP route

    http://www.hrsdc.gc.ca/eng/workplaceskills/foreign_workers/ei_tfw/lmi_tfw.shtml

This requires very little input from you, it's all about the employer proving a need for a foreigner to fill a vacant job space

If you have some Canadian work experience

    http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/cec.asp

Without the IEC pretty much everything is dependent on securing a job in Canada and having an employer willing to do some legwork with an offer letter and or LMO application.
