I've found a couple of good apps for either songwriting or jamming practise.

The first is Chordbot and second Easyband.

Chordbot is a bit more basic, but both allow you to create riffs with a selection of chord variations and various backing styles, useful for songwriting or just jamming along to. Cant copy and paste phrases on either as far as I can see so they are a bit limited, but beat carrying a keyboard around with me!

ANyone else used any other ones?

I did try some more suited to electronic (modern:D) music but they didnt suit me!!
