    See 34% advertised independent today.

Any body use it before or is it new this year.

Got a quote of 440 for Urea. May pickup some soon.

But yeh mf, saw that ad, sounds interesting alright, I plan on asking any of the local suppliers if they have heard of it. The ad suggest it offers a saving of €11/acre, no mention of where they have pulled that figure out of, is it actually priced cheaper per unit N, or is €11/acre the potential saving if you say wasted the can/urea?

So did I. Used it in UK years ago. AFAIK it's just CAN with a higher % of N. TBH Bob I think the pyrotechnics was just an excuse the main reason was a form of trade barrier to protect Nitrogen Eireann as with most of the compounds we use. Your 10-10-20's and 18-6-12's etc many of these compond mixes are only available in Ireland. They are often only slight variations of global standards but the current incumbents use them as a stick to beat any competition whether international or domestic.

34% still banned in case of explosive results? It was never banned in northern Ireland, only Republic. will price Urea today in Fermanagh, see what the story is. If you think fertilizer gets dearer the further south you go, diesel gets cheaper. Road diesel running about 152/litre, to 154 here, was in Mullingar last week , and saw it at 149/litre. No Nordies coming that far south to buy their diesel, i suppose.

Used to be that fert was subject to vat in the uk and ni and that to get it at the same price here you had to be registered.happened to our group a few years back when we bought yara fert from uk,but we worked it out as the groupm company was registered and so did not have to charge individual members
