dog box

    lads dose any know where a fella might get some sort of dog box that can be lifted in and out of the boot with ease its to keep the smell wet dog out of the car and thus keeping the wife happy don't want to go mad. like to keep it in a budget thanks :)

    If budget is a concern i'd buy a sheet of marine ply, a waterproofer, tube of silicone & a box of screws. Can tailor it to your needs. Thats what I did before upgrading to a proper box

    I think they cost around €300 to €350 but that may be one to sit on a ball hitch as said you might be better making one and the so called summer is coming and it may do till the season starts again will give you a chance to save

    You could look up ferplast atlas dog boxes Come in three sizes I have the middle one for two springers it light easy to clean and has compartments in the top for leads or whatever the one I bought is about 160 euro great job I've been there with the homemade timber ones and would never go back

    i bought this box and it is brilliant box handy compartment on top to keep ur birds during the season and dummies etc during the off season easy clean too with bleach and very little smell in van since i bought it;) def worth stretching the budget if possible or just wait a bit longer till funds allow as u wont be dissapointed. saw one on donedeal for 75 euro and it sold very fast cause i rang and it was gone
