Getting rid of a broken down car

    my car is badly leaking oil so i brought it up to a mechanic. He said the engine is gonna go and id need a new one but the car is not worth it (99 astra). Wat can i do with it not? Is there anyone that would take/but it?

    If your agenda is just to get rid of your car and you don't want to sell it for parts there ought to be metal recyclers in your area who'd take it from you. I'd imagine the scrap metal value of a 99 astra is circa €130 - €150.

    If they are reputable they should be issueing you with an end of life certificate also...in fact I'd be insisting on it.

    Stick it up Donedeal and see how it gets on. Be sure to mention dodgy engine.
