Floor Mounted Heated Towel Rails

I am building a house at the moment. I had picked out the location of the radiators in the bathrooms but am now thinking of changing the radiators in the bathrooms to heated Ladder Curved Towel Rails. The wall in the bathrooms have already been plastered with the assumption that ordinary radiators would be used. My builder has said that I can put in the heated towel rails but when I look online at any of these they are all wall mounted. Is plumbing in the walls required for these? Given that plastered is complete I want to avoid this. Can the Ladder Curved Towel Rails be floor mounted?

Just match the pipe gaps to towel rail pipe gaps. Mount them off the wall

I have been forced to mount towel rails without grounds before , and they are still solid in position years later, its all about using the right fixings etc.

Spring plasterboard bolts were the ones i used, and when used correctly they are grand for any normal size towel rail.

is there any pipework in position or was it to be piped at a later date ?

You get a wall mounted towel rail with straight valves off the bottom if your pipework is going to come up from the floor.

you can get a floor mounted towel rail, i have seen them and used them, you will just have to keep looking to find them.

Bottom entry towel rads are easily installed via floor pipes by simply buying straight valves. Best bet is to incorporate them into your underfloor heating system with an electric element inside connected to your PV.
