    Hi,
I have shares in SAP AG, current value €60 each
My wife wants to take sell some of them and put the money into our mortgage (TSB tracker 2.43%)

I think we shouldn't as shares are performing very well , up 25.96% from lat year. Obviously there's a risk with shares though.

I was thinking of taking selling some and spreading the investment, so that if SAP AG shares decline at least I'll have some invested elsewhere and mightn't lose as much.
Long term bank rates aren't great. Anyone have any advice what to do if I sell a chunck of the shares?
    cheers,
    Pa.
