As title says, my trusty brick of a laptop is finally on the way out (charger is repeatedly stopping working) and I need a new one. I'm looking for something around 500 (600 is about the max). I know for gaming laptops that's not much. It will mostly be used for gaming (ESO when it comes out!).

Unfortunately I'm a noob when it comes to processor specs, graphics cards, which are better, etc etc. I was wondering if anyone could provide any help?

I've had a look in pcworld but it just goes over my head when comparing them instore and I'd be paranoid the sales reps would just want to hock off the most expensive one they could on me!

Have a look on line, try Dell you can custom build your own with different specs.
