    I am thinking of updating my oil central heating. I got a quote from one installer of €3701. For that I get as follows;
    1x 2 channel Climote 7-day digital time clock
    2x Electric motorised valves
    1x Digital wall Thermostats
    up to 4 Thermostatic Radiator Valves
    1x Cylinder Thermostat
    1xtimeclock for immersion
    1x central heating Protector
    1x Powerflush heating system
    1x Carbon Monoxide alarm
    1x BER cert
    1x Oil high efficiency condensing boiler
    this is full installation with 2 years warranty
    This quote is the total after SEAI grant. Is it OTT or about right for what i am getting? All advice greatly appreciated.

    It seems a bit pricey, but in saying that, it is a good spec and everything seems to be covered, the grant is €610, the climote is a good product,

    Get another couple of quotes and compare , see who is giving you more value for money , don't just jump at the cheapest though , ensure you are getting a proper flush with chemicals , mabey even push for a magnet filter
