how much does it cost to run a laptop?

Hi guys just curious, as to how heavy is a laptop on electricity when plugged in?
Example my own acer 5920g is plugged in all the time when its on,as the battery is bad.. So if it was in for 5hrs a day how much would it cost?

Its going to vary but you can do the math from the charger label, and just assume full output all the time to calculate the maximum

5hours at about 30W average means 150Wh. This costs about 0.15*€0.16 (per kWh) = a bit over €0.02 (2 cents for 5 hours)
