I'd recommend watching the first few minutes of this vid.
It shows a couple of easy "exploits" and tricks to get a few extra points.

So can I just play this on an emu (coinops on xbox1) to throw a score up? I suck at dk btw

I guess so long as its a faithful version then sure yeah. Like pacman or galaga would be acceptable from mame or Xbox or ps3.

Gonna pick Mikie as my pick for this week. So this will get added to the current list for possible picks going forward.

*fyi...you can pick the same game again to get it added to the list again. That way if you really want a game to come up you increase its chances. Once a game does get picked though, it is gone from the list for(the foreseeable future)ever.

    EDIT

Its hard as balls, really puts into perspective how good Billy Mitchell and Steve Weibe were to crack 1m points.

    Has he actually played publically?
Anyone can say they are good at a game...

watch The King Of Kong, goes into that very question. He did send in a taped game to Twin Galaxies during the documentary, but he always advocated playing in front of a crowd, which Steve Weibe did. Its a good doc, a lot of it is edited to match Mitchell look like a (bigger) knob, and there's some dramatised stuff in it but its well worth a watch.
