    Hi,

Anyone know how to go about ordering the R&A rule books? It was suggested for our society that we provide a rule book for everyone this year. I would need 40 books most likely.

I know clubs provide them for free but I cant really see myself going in and bringing 40 books out of the clubhouse with me :-)

The R and A website has a full rule book in PDF format, downloadable for free (www.randa.org).

This is great, because you can search for (press CTRL F) any word you like, eg: "ground under repair", rather than having to go through indexes or contents of an actual book.

Granted, this won't be ideal for your less tech savvy members, but for many, emailing this to them could be ideal, and save you hassle.

There's also an official iPhone app which has all the rules searchable as above, plus a built-in quiz.

The app doesnt have the decisions, there is a paid for version that does though...which is annoying.

Thanks everyone. I contacted the GUI and they told me to call into Carton house and I could pick them up.

Sometimes the simplest ways are the best :-)

At what point did the OP say he wanted decisions?

He wanted a rule book...someone pointed to a free rule book app

    The app is searchable.

    Plus my 2p's worth

    Whoa there, easy tiger!

The decisions are invaluable for understanding some of the more intricate/complicated rules.
