I'm not too sure about the navigation software. Have you been in contact with your local VW dealer? It might be worth giving them a call.

I wouldn't go near a dealer as they will charge extortionate prices.

Ebay or even done deal offers discs and or services that update your navigation relatively cheaply.

Your probably right. I just searched Ebay, but could only find the full head unit for sale.

EDIT: Is this what your're refereeing to? http://cars.donedeal.ie/for-sale/caraccessories/3699315

    Well done.

When I searched I found a suitable disc.

OP, some place like this might be your best bet.

I needed something similar a few years back and there's a VW Audi Forum which is quite aptly named just that where I got a free copy of what I needed.

All I had to do was cover postage.

    Also worth a look :)

    Sorry.

I don't see any need to be saying sorry.

Don't pull the usual "poor me" shyte again thanks. It's getting old already. You do it too often.

You do this every single time someone contradicts you - this is a discussion board, these things happen. Do you really expect people to accept your nuggets of information even if they are not in agreement with them?

No. But Just after noticing that the link I put up in the "edit" was the link you posted then you post "well done". :)

The discs can be downloaded from various file sharing sites but you run the risk of bricking the unit. I'd ask the done deal crowd, they can probably acquire the software to do it properly.
