How do I install application in root folder?

    Hi there,

    I'm trying to install Indexhibit (http://www.indexhibit.org/tutorials/getting-started/installation-long-version/) as a CMS for my website which is hosted with Blacknight. 

    The problem is that I keep on getting the message "could not move because the server says you do not have the required permissions" when I try to move it to the root directory.

    There is a version of WordPress installed on the site but I'd like to temporarily park that (rename files rather than delete) so I am wondering if this is causing the problems? 

    Where shoud I install Indexhibit?
