Im currently working on the job bridge scheme, however I've been told Im been kept on full time, which is wonderful. Im going to be getting a monthly wage so Im wondering do I take myself off social welfare from my starting date or after my 1st paycheck, I know its a bit of a silly question but I could have a difficult month ahead.

You probably need to sign off straight away. If you're changing over from Jobbridge, then I'm certain there must be paperwork your employer has to complete to let Welfare know. I'd check with them first. Is there any way you can get a sub until your first paycheck?

Wonderful news about the job BTW. Well done! :) It's so nice to hear Jobbridge working for the right reasons for once.

The very best of luck to you!

You will need to sign off from the first day you are an employee. If you will not be paid for a month you can go to the CWO who can help with payment in the meantime. Good luck with your job.
