GT5 no longer working

Having a problem with the PS3/GT5 Haven't played GT5 in a while now, but after the title screen with the video and the music the screen just goes blank, and my samsung tv just says "mode not supported". This used not happen. Anybody come across this before? I've uninstalled and reinstalled all the game data again.

....and now it's working again?! I guess for future reference if anybody has this problem, I went into display properties on the system properties and reset the video settings. I think the problem was that I previously had this connected to a 3DTV for a while so maybe there was some settings left over from that?
