    Has anyone experience of Beam Central Vac system? Any reviews good/bad/ugly? How's the suction and power?

    They really suck! ;)

    We have a system and it works quite well, very powerful (would almost remove the spots off a dalmatian).

    The only downside is the long hose can sometimes be a real pain to control and it can get coiled up in itself.
    I also fitted one of those floor vents in the kitchen but it never got used and the Tee piece that connected it to the rest of the system was a source of blockages (about one a year), so I removed it, never had a blockage since.
