Is there a demand for explosives technicians?

I'm a chemistry major so I'm thinking, why not play to my strengths. Would they allow me to train as an explosives technician since I have (well I will by the time I sign up) a chemistry degree? I reckon they always need bomb disposal technicians but they also need people in the demolition department with the know how to…
