How fit should you be before joining?

    I haven't been exercising much for the past few years so I got outta shape but I picked it up again recently. Right now, I can run a mile at a slow pace. I can skip for about 5 minutes straight, 10 minutes if I take short breaks in between. I can only do 20 pushups which is a bad sign. I can do 50 situps and squats no problem.
