Do you need to be young to join the army?

I'm in my mid 20s and it won't be for a couple of years that join if I decide to. Is it mainly young people (i.e. people just out of secondary school) that join the army, or is it common for people 25 and older to join? I just want to join for the experience and the skills and discipline that you learn, as well as the free dental care, I'm not planning on working my way up the ranks and becoming a drill seargent or anything.

One odd thread, OK. Two, raising an eyebrow. Three, something is definitely wrong. Mr Monkey can come back in a week or two.
