Do you need to be young to join the army?

I'm in my mid 20s and it won't be for a couple of years that join if I decide to. Is it mainly young people (i.e. people just out of secondary school) that join the army, or is it common for people 25 and older to join? I just want to join for the experience and the skills and discipline that you learn, as well as the free…
