Cleared any water under the windscreen? Could be water where the wiper linkage is.

WE have the same problem in our trucks when we start them. The ones with air conditioning clear in a minute or two. The ones without, have to use this It's a bit of an effort on a truck windscreen but it's well worth it.

Toyota's in particular are a bit of a nightmare for doing this in my experience. Check is there water seeping into the boot or any footwell. Quite possible a seal isin't doing its job.
