I heard an ad on the radio yesterday but can't remember the name of the company. They say they will do your taxes and take a % of what you get back.
Anyone any idea who this crowd are please? I heard it on i102 radio (Galway/West of Ireland station).
    Thanks

don't know who it is but why pay a percentage to someone. If you log into Revenue website and register yourself, a tax return is very simple for a PAYE worker. After you've initially registered you get a PIN number in the post after about 10 days and then you log in and enter your figures, etc. why not have a look at it at least.

Because they might be able to give me tips or claim back on something I am not already claiming on. I know about Med1 but unfamiliar with other areas such as tax for renting a house (I am the renter) etc etc. I'm a bit clueless about all of this. Usually do it myself but want to get that company for this time around. Anyone know who they are? Thanks

The rent tax credit is now gone, so it makes it simpler again to fill in online. Why be giving your hard earned cash to some outfit, when an hour spent online to Revenue will give you all the (possible) money coming back to you.

Pretty straightforward. Look at the videos for using the online service. The links below will assist you in claiming any additional tax credits or reliefs you think you qualify for.

The rent tax credit is now gone,

It's not gone for everyone, sometimes it pays to talk to someone who knows something about it!
