First car ideas

HI,I'm looking for ideas for a first car, not buying for another good while yet, car would need to have small enough engine and be insurable for first time driver. Would hav up to 1500 to spend. Any suggestions welcome, wouldn't mind insurable classic car either, im just looking for ideas :P thanks

Fiesta and Micra are both good starter cars if you can find a good one.
