    Hi all

just wanted to say that next week, I am planning a trip to the apple store, where I will buy the 11 inch MacBook Air, along with a 64 GB iphone 5. I stupidly got an android on my upgrade, and thinking I was making the switch for good, sold my IPhone, biggest mistake I ever made. I use IPhone because of the accessibility features it has built in for visually impaired users, I'm totally blind so am a voice over user. I am typing this right now from an Ipad mini using a bluetooth keyboard. I so cannot wait to have an IPhone again, and doubley can't wait to have a mac again :)

Hope was alright to post this here, just had to share with fellow mac and apple enthusiasts! :)

Apple also constantly update and improve on the accessibility features so their Mac's and iOS devices will only get better and easier to use.

Having witnessed a blind person using the iphones accessibility features to the fullest, i have to say it's head and shoulders above android in this regard.

Stevie Wonder agrees "because there's nothing on the iPhone or iPad that you can do that I can't do. As a matter of fact, i can be talking to you, you can be looking at me, and I can be doing whatever I need to do and you don't even know what I'm doing!"

I'm not sure if you're joking or not, but if you are, you're closer than you think. Part of the accessibility is the fact that the user can blackout the screen, letting siri/voiceover do the talking, so if the user is wearing headphones i have no idea what they're doing on the phone. it also makes the phone useless to a sighted thief.

Why would I be joking? Stevie Wonder has been long time advocate for technology to enhance the lives of those with sight issues - that's why he singled out Apple for praise.

+1. Great to hear Apple still works hard to meet customer's needs.

Sometimes you don't really appreciate something until you've been away from it for a while. I still have none-too-fond memories of the 3 years I spent stuck with a crappy Packard Bell running Windows 98 before I was able to get a new Mac. And there's no danger of me ever forgetting since I have many relatives who annoy me on a regular basis with their Windows related problems. Apple is far from perfect, but I'll take them over the alternative any day.

    Welcome back, OP. :)

Wow, you are totally blind but you can type without even making a spelling mistake! That puts many sighted members to shame. I'm impressed. :)
