Hello, I have a sony xperia tipo, when i get a text and dont check it all that happens is a very dim blue blinking light on the top right of the phone. This is pretty rubbish as a reminder - is there any way at all to make the phone give a small buzz or ring every so often till i check the unread message. I realize this…

Hello,
I have a sony xperia tipo, when i get a text and dont check it all that happens is a very dim blue blinking light on the top right of the phone. I realize this isnt a feature everyone wants, but i would really like it, used to have it on an older phone.
I have zero experience of android, and dont have any apps installed - other than the pre installed stuff.

This feature is not available by Default on Android if you use the stock messaging app. Instead, I use the 'GO SMS' app and have my phone remind me every 5 mins of the text.
