    Hey all,

we have got two pocket watches here at home.

    The first one has
    "J.G. Graves Sheffield
    The Midland Lever
    Swiss made"
on the front. It has a chain, with what looks like a small coin at the end of it with writing around the edges and the number/date 1890 on it. There is a 5 on the back of this "coin". It opens up, has "460515" writthe inside, with "0.935" underneath. It's just after starting to work again after I opened it :)

The second one doesn't have a chain. On the front reads
    "Am. Watch Co.
Waltham". I can't seem to open up this one!

Any point elaborating further/posting up pics? Not that they are for sale, but are they rare? Worth much money?

May as well stick some pics up, couldn't hurt!

I have a 1906 Waltham pocket watch with an American Watch Company case, which is what I'm guessing the Am. Watch Co. is, if you bring it to a jewelers they should be able to safely open it, you can then get the Waltham Serial No. which you can then use to date the watch online here http://www.nawcc-info.org/walthamdb/walsernum.htm (hopefully the right site)

I can't say much about the first watch mentioned but the Waltham has got potential to be worth a bit of money.
