UPC requesting movie channel pin everytime!?

    Hi there,

We recently upgraded our upc package to include Sky sports and movies

The channels are working fine but everytime we try to change from one movie channel to another, it's prompting us to enter a pin, which is the default 0000. Once entered the channel is unlocked but its a real pain in the arse

I've checked and parental control is off completely. Is there any way to get rid of this really annoying feature?

Thanks for any advice in advance

Ah that would explain why it was working last night and not during the day today!

    Cheers for the reply

Have to say it's a bit crappy that it can't overrode during the day considering we've no kids in the house

Sky show movies with parental ratings of PG and above outside of the normal watershed periods. To be allowed to do this, there must be a mandatory PIN request every time one selects a Sky movie channel, bar Sky Family, between some time in the early morning and 8pm. It's the same if you are with Sky.

It's a pain, particularly living in a home with no children.

Made worse by UPC bugs - if a reminder pops up while you're watching one of these movie channels, the channel re-locks. To unlock it, you have to dismiss the reminder, switch channel, then switch back, then hit the green button, enter the PIN, and Ok. Gets annoying after the.... first time.
