Advice needed Installing a DVD Player/Gps FORD Mondeo 2008

Are they any Good??
Would a dealer install one of these if u asked them.??

The reason i asked is it seems like you have to remove a lot of panels &trim to get @ the radio. some of them parts seem to be very filmsy.&might get damaged if use a bit of force to remove if stuck..
Installed Car radios before but never in a mondeo.

I removed the standard radio and upgraded to the Sony 6 CD on a brand new mondeo 2 or 3 years ago. While it looks like a big job, it's actually really easy.

You need to remove the trim starting from the cupholders. From memory that piece just clips off, all the way up to the ashtray. There are some torx screws around the ashtray area and under the blanking plates either side of the radio. Once you have the first trim piece off and you have these torx screws removed, the radio just slides out (may need to remove the plugs from behind the parking sensor button and the other button near that).

Unplug current radio, plug new radio in. Re-fit trim pieces in the reverse order to how they came out and jobs a good un.

Took me about an hour to do it first time, and didn't break anything. Took about 10 mins on the second car once I knew exactly what I was doing.
