Skyscanner and E-travel

I just wanted to ask about people's experiences if they've ever booked a flight through skyscanner or e-travel? Are these websites legit ways to book a flight because they seem really dodgy to me.

I'm looking to book a flight from Dublin to Toronto for June of this year. I looked on skyscanner and a found a really good price through e-travel, flying with British Airways.

However, when I went on to the British Airways website to see if I could book the flight that way, the same flight was nearly 1000 euro dearer!?

That makes me really wary of purchasing the flight through e-travel. How can there be such a massive difference in price?

I'll be booking a one way flight and shouldn't have any need to change the date so I'm not too bothered about e-travel's level of customer service or anything like that, as hopefully I won't have to contact them over anything. I just want to be assured though that if I do book a flight through them that the booking will actually exist when I go to check in!

I've booked several long haul flights through e-travel in the past and have always found them excellent. They have an office in Walkinstown, and the one time there was a minor issue I just rang them and they sorted it out the same day.

Seeing as people probably see this thread after googling e-travel (I;m guessing the OP has long booked), I have used them before and found them excellent too. Had a couple of questions about my booking too so sent them an email and they got straight back to me. As well as the OP, it was with BA and it was way cheaper than on the BA website. I found Etravel through Skyscanner as well

Just last month, I needed to book some multi-city flights to Asia and skyscanner doesn;t do those. I tried a couple of other sites like Kayak.com and ebookers. I then tried E-travel and they were the cheapest by about €20 on the same flights, and way more possible flight combinations popped up than the others too. Their website isn't the most modern but you can;t argue with the price and service.

Much much cheaper than site of airline.
    Too good to be true?
    There must be a catch?
