    Getting into cycling for fitness and getting a bike through bike to work scheme was looking at the giant defy 5 any you guys familiar with it

    Giant is a decent brand of bike but given the defy 5 is the base model, the components are not that spectacular, maybe consider a second hand bike with a better spec?? either way, best of luck with it. Hope you enjoy it.

    With the bike to work scheme you can get a better bike than the Defy 5 I went for the Defy 3 after good advice here on boards

    Just to give a bit of feedback... got on mine for the first time today aftwr cycling a Giant Revel for a good while.... my god the difference!! I didnt even know how to use the gears for about 15 mins haha
