Penneys (Artane Castle) are selling off hand towels and large bath towels for 1 euro and 2 euro each.

They are a light blue colour.
    Hand towel measures 90 cm x 50cm.

Bought 2 hand towels for the fish tanks in the house.:)

A good bargain me thinks so.

    Hope it helps.:)

In all the times that myself and my girlfriend have browzed through Penneys while out shopping in Blanchardstown Shopping Centre,we have yet to see any real bargains or items on clearence sale.

You get the odd few bargains in Penneys Omni Park, but a lot of the clearence bargains seem to go on in Penneys Artane Castle.

    Paddy,

Were there many of the towels left when you were there? Just wondering if it is worth making a trip up there in this weather.

There was 1 large 2 tier metal trolley unit with the hand towels (I rekon around 100 towels left in it)..they were flying out the door.
There was 2 large metal trolley units with the bath towels..and people were fairly snapping them up too.
That was yesterday afternoon at around 2:30 pm.

So I dont know if they would be still there or not.

Sorry I cant be more helpfull than that.:)

Ever tried drying yourself with a towel from Pennys...they just move the water around! I got a few as presents when I moved into my house but ended up flinging them out quickly after.

Well I had no problem with the bath towel this morning, after stepping out of the shower.

I patt myself dry,as its easier on the skin and doesnt irritate the skin like rubbing a towel accross your skin can sometimes do.

So for me 2 euro is a good bargain .:)

Thanks Paddy. Something has come up here and I can't venture out for now but I might see if my sister is around as she might wander up. As you said at that price they would be snapped up quickly.

I saw some of these towels in Penneys Ennis during the week but they were €4/5 so didn't bother. Would have snapped a few up if they were €1/2 for sure!
