ara would ya quit your jibber jabbering!!

the largest protest in this country over the last four years was undoubtably the Siptu organised protest against Fianna Fail November 2010 when the snow fell heavily on the Friday night yet 100,000+ men, women and children gathered on a Christmas shopping day and marched through the city with crowds still coming over the bridge as O Connell street filled right up.

I hear people creaming themselves these days when they proclaim that they calculated roughly 100,000 people protested all over the country in a month recently. it makes me sick that when it came to gathering in Nov 2010 to force fianna fail to hold elections we had massive support that day despite the freezing temperatures i may add, yet today, what we have is a sizeable majority of millions completely bewildered to the point where they'll come up with 1,000,000,000 reasons not to protest instead of making 1 decision to just go along. What harm can it do eh??

You've got the makings of great ballad lyrics there. ;)

I'm happy to storm the Dail without having had a drink. I don't want to be seeing two Endas only to miss both of them with my right hook.

I was hoping when FG got in things here would get better. But things have stayed pretty much the same. Ok they inherited a bad situation and had to go along with FF's deal with the EU and IMF. I wish to god they had ripped up that deal and made a new fairer one. But sadly no. Every country owes money I dont know why they dont all sit down and say ok lets reset all the debt and start over. The world is a mess and its getting worse every day.

Ah after hours… where one can get riddled in seconds…

This thread is indeed a result of a drunken discussion (mostly on my part) but hey drunk or sober if there's willing participants I'll join in :)
