100 times better than wellies!! Way more comfortable!! you run the risk of going over on your ankle with boots compared to wellies as you dont have the ankle support that wellies give! but I chose boots all the time!!

I wear those boots all the time when i dont need wellies they are very comfortable alright, but a good pair of wellies are as comfotable and lighter..

they are two different products for two different purposes. i wear both but for different tasks. if it comes down to one or the other you can do without the boots but you definately need the wellies for farming in Ireland.

These give very little ankle support as i discovered. There easy to get on and off so you dont get given out to for wearing them in the house.

That's the way I view them too. My default setting is the leather boot though, even in mucky enough set-ups. But when needed the rubber boots come out. I broke my ankle before and like the support from the leather boot.
