With stations being closed and the Guards being stretched over bigger areas, will you or do you keep a weapon in your bedroom for protection?

I always keep my hand on my 'weapon' while I sleep!

No. I've watched enough Bas Rutten self defense videos to annihilate my way out of any violent confrontations.

Quite a few people I know keep hammers or baseball bats beside their beds. One guy has a sword:eek:.

Lynx can and a lighter is all you need as a weapon in you room.

Less Gardai + Less Stations = Better , more efficient police force.

    The mind boggles

The Gardai come afterwards so see if the burglar left any clues on your bloody corpse, not between the break in and the robber getting to your bedroom!

Also, who are these guards who protect you and deserve capital letters?
