Nice return to form this week, I quite enjoyed this episode, especially after last week's bizarre sub-par disaster and random love triangles, although this episode's continuity of Tina's new found obsession with Blaine was pretty funny. Marley and Jake's duet was excellent, and I liked the focus on Rachel (although why she would agree to take part in that shabby student film is beyond me, thank god she came to her senses).
Really nice surprise cameos from Mercedes, Santana and Quinn, looks like Santana will be sticking around in New York too.
    :)

You'd miss the old cast but its great they join in now and again into the show.

I stopped watching Glee mid way through S2 because the decline in quality was just horrendous.
The other day I was watching a few things on youtube and one of the videos was in a playlist and after it finished a video from this episode popped up. It was the full performance of A Thousand Years, and I liked it! A lot! So I went and caught up on most of S4.

I didn't know they'd changed a lot of the cast, but I have to say I really like the new kids and I don't particularly miss any of the old cast. I'm particularly pleased they got rid of Schister, even if it is only for a few months.

Maybe it's just because things feel a bit fresher with the new kids but even the scenes where they're singing to each other rather than performing aren't as cringey as they used to be. Jake and Marley's duet and even Jake singing "Let Me Love You" to Marley were really nice scenes. I used to hate when Finn and Rachel would do this every other episode before. Maybe the new kids are just better actors, which wouldn't be hard when it comes to some previous stars.

But anyway, I enjoyed this one, and I enjoyed quite a few of the ones I've caught up on, so maybe I'm back on this Glee train.

Have to agree I really enjoyed this ep. also - you kinda knew something was up whenit was written by Ryan Murphy himself. Must admit I had a few tears when Jake sang that song to Marley...he's got a great voice!....loved Marleys furious clapping when the song was over.

I do like these two together a lot more then Finchel...they are really sweet and no drama. THANK GOD Kurt/the show has called Rachel/Lea out on her pornstar look and attitude!

She's a totally different person, the hair/makeup...the ultra tight and short dresses!....someone is sending that girl a message and about time!
Sam as awesome as always, and Brittany is a genius?......I knew it!!
