So, after a group of us being made redundant in October, we got together, set up a new business, used social welfare payments to tide us over till funding and are now set up and approved for the STEA, which is awesome.

There's 5 of us who've set up the company and we've been advised to also get the TAT, which according to our jobs advisor, we can get up to €750 per person. We've a million and one costs, obviously being a startup, and we want to make sure that we try to ensure we get that full amount, if possible.

The jobs advisor guy said to get €750, you'd need to go to them with a 'quote' for at least €1000 (if it goes through, they'll cover 3/4, up to a max of €750). The form is a "EFT Payment Authorisation Form" which you need to get the VAT number of who you're buying from, along with their bank account details.

My question is what's the best approach to getting this, and what's the best type of 'quote' to go back to them with?

The details of the TAT is at the bottom of http://www.welfare.ie/en/Pages/Back-to-Work-Short-Term-Enterprise-Allowance-Self-Employed.aspx

And for a bit more information, the company is a tech company, and we will be moving to a new office soon enough, so a good chunk could definitely be spent on furniture, and computer hardware, but we're also employing two part-time artists, and have a legal and accounting firm helping us too, would it be ok putting that through this? I'm just not 100% clear on exactly how to actually action this.

    Thanks for any help!
