Cost of land

    Hi,

Does anyone have any idea how to place a value on the following.

I am talking to a neighbour about buying a piece of her garden that backs onto my property, about 30 meters by 5 meters. Essentially I want to expand my outdoor space and she has a huge garden. The area in question is derelict and is land locked by me and two other houses, who have no interest in the land.

How would I go about valuing this?

    Thanks

Doubt if you could get even 1 auctioneer to value that,
if it's as you describe, 150SqM of landlocked ground., with no interest from neighbours, is worth what you are willing to pay, and the owner is willing to accept.

That might be a Grand, Ten Grand, or if it increases your ability to get say another house on the site 25Grand
