BTEA h-dip question

Hi there. Hopefully someone can answer this question for me. I was looking at the social welfare site and from what i can gather I can do a post-grad in the form of a h-dip (higher diploma). Is this the same as a p-dip or a grad-dip in the eyes of social welfare?
Also, a second query with regards to BTEA. I have been on the back to work scheme for the last two years (finished on it on 22nd Nov 2012). Would I be entitled to BTEA?
    Thanks in advance

Does the website say it's the same in the eyes of social welfare? Can you quote the relevant paragraph you were perusing?

My understanding: H Dips, grad dips and professional dips are all the same thing.

The only thing included for grants purposes is the h.dip in teaching.

However, there is currently ICT and springboard-funding for various IT/science-related post-grad courses.

Only the PGDE (H Dip in Teaching) is allowed. By 'Back to work scheme', do you mean you were on the Back to Work Enterprise Allowance? If you were, then you are considered as having entering the work place, so you would not be eligible at the moment for BTEA. You would need to apply again for Jobseeker's Allowance and wait the qualifying period.

Gutted to hear that. I thought I would be able to do it
