Hi all hope this is the right thread and thanks in advance.

Just after moving office into the city center and looking to put a wireless sound system to have music throughout the building.
Its an old Georgian building (our offiice is 2400 sq foot over two floors) and we're looking at initially having speakers in 5 large rooms + stairwell controlled from a tablet in a doc with spotify etc.

Obv wireless would be ideal but would the size of the building make that impossible?Any advice/tips on how to do this without it costing an absolute fortune would be super. (or even contacts in that field would be awesome).

    cheers.

    podge x

Maybe look at Sonos and build your system over time.

Sonos all the way! I have 6 zones and it works flawlessly :p You can control it with an iphone/android smartphone or tablet and/or PC/Laptop. It runs spotify also or you can stream music from a Server or even your iPhone/iPad. Wireless dropouts or reach wont be an issue givin it will form a mesh wherever you place a Sonos device. One device will need to be hard wired to your internet router using a CAT5/5e/6 cable, but this can be a cheap Sonos dedicated bridge also.
Let me know if you have any question..
