Java 7 for beginner

Hey, I need to learn java 7 for work but wondering if there are any good books available. I have ordered "sams teach yourself java in 24 hours" but wondering if there are any other good books/resources available as there are not many reviews attached to java 7 books? Please be aware that my coding history is minimal Thanks

Java 7 is the latest version of java,but any of the books for java 6 will do you fine.

Try head first java as a book to introduce you to java.

Also have a look at these online tutorials
