Fiat Stilo Passenger Door Not Opening

Alright ladies and gents, I drive a 3-door Fiat Stilo and last week the passenger door stopped opening. The button comes up, but neither handle makes the door open. I've popped the door panel back and it just looks like a wire that runs to the button. Any ideas what it might be? Will it cost me a lot to get fixed?

Don't know about the Stilo but the Bravos and Tipos suffered malfunctioning mechanisms. A pig to get the door open, timing with the door button is crucial

A new assembly is what cures that
