gt starlet to starlet parts

    just wondering if anyone with a bit of knoledge about gt's could help me.just trying to figure out would the shocks from a gt fit straight into a 95 old shape starlet?i plan on getting the shocks from a gt the same age, or there abouts

    i had heard before that you had to change the rear top mounts, but otherwise a straight swap.

    that said, i have put 95 starlet shocks and springs into a 98 and vice versa with different cars before and never had to change anything, they were a direct swap. so i'd say you'l be fine to work away tbh.

    Ah well ill get a set out of someones car to try before i buy sort of thing.would hate to end up stuck with a set and be 60-100 quid down haha.so going on your advice, ill try a set and hope for the best.surely the tops wouldnt be hard change

    i wouldn't be afraid to buy them, they'l 100% fit your car. just worst case scenario you'l have to use the top mounts from you're old shocks, but even that is unlikely.

    not as such no, a couple of minutes each :) careful though, probably best invest in spring compressors.
