o2 Student Broadband Queries

    Hey Guys,
    O2 Student Broadband 9.99 EUR p/m

I've been looking for some straight answers to some simple enough questions that I can't seem to gain from the O2 customer support web chat.

    Questions

    • If I'm not satisfied with the download speeds or reception I receive or I deem them poor can I get the contract cancelled without paying an additional fees or payments?
    • Is there anyway I can test the above without purchasing the student broadband deal?
    • The download allowance for the month is 15Gb, is there anyway to put a usage restriction on your daily usage, to limit yourself going over the 15GB monthly allowance?
    • On the O2 website it states that any additional broadband usage exceeding your monthly allowance of 15GB is charged at 0.001 per MB. From reading some threads on boards I've found that people are being charged amounts exceeding that range, the most common being 0.005 excluding VAT. What is the true value inc. VAT that you will be charged for going over ?
    • Does the modem give a true reading of usage per day or will I have to contact O2 everytime I want a reading of my usage?
NOTE: Any other information you think I may find useful, please place below and it will be greatly appreciated.
