    Sorry if this isn't the correct forum, wasn't sure where else to put this.

    My brother in Kilkenny wants to send a package up to me here in Dublin. My apartment only seems to have mailboxes which the package wouldn't fit in, and I can't get it delivered to where I work. If he sends it to me anyway, will they take it to the nearest depot or post office and leave me a leaflet saying I can collect it, or how does it work?

    Yes they'll leave a leaflet and you pick it up from a local sorting office.

    ideal situation to use parcel motel. It'll usually cost you 3.50 per parcel i think but your first two stays are free.
    So it'll cost him whatever to post it and if you have never used parcel motel before take advantage of the 2 freebies.
