    Hi All,

I'm looking at a Trooper this weekend, just wondering how they are on fuel, now I know 4X4's are thirsty but are they excessive or average?

    Thanks

Excessive compared to a small car and average for a 4x4 of its size and weight?

What MPG can you live with? Expect mid 20's. I get low 20's in the city and mid-high 20's on long runs in my landcruiser.

I meant a vehicle of it's type, but as you are aware some are a tad more economical that others :-)) (only a tad though) just don't want to end up with a wagon doing 18 MPG :-))

I don't know what mpg they do but if it's the 3.0 newer model your looking at you could be lumberd with big repair bills. They don't have a very good engine.
