Take the red line Luas towards town, get off in Abbey Street and walk up to Stephens Green, ( bit of a long walk , nice at strolling pace ). Take the green line Luas at Stevens Green as far as Windy Arbour. When you come out of that station just go to your left past houses ( on your left ) golf course ( on your right ) and Orwell road is the first turn you come to on the right.

145 bus from outside Heuston to Nassau Street (or 25a/25b from St John's Road), and then 14 or 15b both serve Orwell Road. It is a long road, and the 14 serves the majority of it, while the 15b only serves the Rathgar end.

Routes 15 and 15a also serve Rathgar village from Nassau Street.

The LUAS would be far too long.
