Sky on xbox - adaptive bit rate problem?

Watching Liverpool v Arsenal match on sky through my xbox. Picture keeps going blurry, fading in and out, it's very annoying. Only noticed it since I switched to Sky broadband connection last week, though I'm getting faster speeds. Was never this bad with eircom, and they had slower speeds. When I press X about video quality, it's on auto, doesn't allow me to switch to low, medium and high as it used to. Seems to be lots of complaints on Sky forums about "adaptive bit rate" which they use but as far as I can see Sky haven't fixed it. Anyone else experiencing this? Any solutions?

    Is your exchange BT enabled?
What speed does your modem connect at?
Have you waited the 10 days recommended after installation for speeds to settle?

I presume it is BT enabled as I'm on the €17.50 deal & she said I can get up to 20mb.I've gotten 12mb but it alternates between 5 and 10mb.My 10 days are up tomorrow. Should it settle down and fix itself?

You could try ringing them and see. You could try speed tests and see if is improving day by day. You could just wait and hope. In theory the speed tests should be consistant 24 hours a day with no slow down in the evenings, in theory.

Started off well, then dipped, now its flying!I'll check the Sky reception now through Xbox.

Link doesn't work, but keep doing tests and keep a note of results at different times of the day, day after day.
