What you watch on tv and what it says about you

I'm just looking through my recorded programmes on UPC, and wondering how they reflect on my personality! I have various series(eses?) set to record, which are:
    • The Big Bang Theory
    • The Undateables
    • 8 Out of 10 Cats
    • The Cleaveland Show
    • Tallafornia (my most favourite guilty pleasure!)
    • Take Me Out Ireland (bit embarrased by this one)
    • The US Offfice
    • South Park
    • Family Guy
    • Never Mind the Buzzcocks
    • American Dad
    • Rude Tube
    • The IT Crowd
    • Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow
    • Airline :o
    • Love/Hate

    And then two movies:
    • Rain Man (the original)
    • Inglorious Basterds

Most of my mates into programmes like Revenge or One Born Every Minute and that kind of thing. I can't follow series(eses:p) 'cause I always end up missing episodes and don't have the time to catch up (Love/Hate is the exception - brilliant show!).

I don't watch that much tv - usually either have Newstalk or music on in the background - so I've got a rake of things recorded that I may never watch, but I don't want to delete just in case!

All in all though, looking at my programmes of choice, I'm thinking they don't reflect on me as a gal of wealth and taste.

What do ye guys watch and do you think it says anything about you?

Anything on discovery. Ice road truckers, the oil one, swamp people, love those programmes.

How It's made, myth busters, anything about nature.

I'd be more embarrassed watching Tallafornia tbh.

I've gone off TV over the last few years as there's SFA on and ads kill me, but when I do watch it I'd watch Family guy, American Dad and then the Documentary channels -except they've gone to fuk imo and there's way less extreme engineering and those types of docs on anymore.

I also got into Game of Thrones after thinking it'd be shíte but it's very, very good.

I'm also going to start watching Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead to see what all the fuss is about, but fuk me, it's a lot of TV to catch up on and I don't know if I'm up for it

It is entertaining for the first few episodes then you realise how repetitive and irritating it really gets the more you watch.

Ah - that's not nice! :p I don't have strong feelings about laugh tracks either way. I don't really notice them anymore (conditioning brainwashing???). Couldn't have told you if Big Bang had one or not before you pointed it out. Still funny though - I think.

I refused to watch Game of Thrones on pure principle after hearing people talk about it, but I read the first book a while ago (random Kindle book list) and really enjoyed it! Still haven't watched a tv episode though.

Loved Breaking Bad. Saw the first series and it was brilliant.

Discovery / BBC / C4 documentaries, motoring shows, movies, comedy - normally standup or panel shows as opposed to sitcoms. Oh yeah and the odd (usually American) TV series that interests me, like Walking Dead or Game of Thrones. Never saw Lost, Breaking Bad or any of those.

I don't really watch TV at all.

I might watch the odd documentary on BBC, especially the music ones, they're excellent.

Quickly specify "only up to season 8/9/10" or face ridicule!

One of the best shows I've actually found on tv! Found it on RTE2 late one night, used to wait up just to watch after that (Pre sky+ and decent internet in the house).

I rarely follow series now, and I hardly watch tv. I download Archer and Bob's Burgers every week tho, definitely the 2 funniest sitcoms around today.

I don't know what it says about me. I suppose I don't have a long enough attention span since I won't watch anything over 30 mins long apart from films. It's not ignorance but after 30 mins I find it hard to stay interested :o

It actually ruins my day if a new one comes on :(

I can't imagine actually sitting down and watching broadcast TV any more since I got a decent net connection.

I watch series/movies on Netflix or downloaded stuff.

    Yeah, similar to myself.

Only things I'd properly watch on TV anymore would be football/sports and the odd time the news.

What's all your furniture pointed at?

Everywhere. Looks like I hired a very drunk Feng Shui expert to decorate.
I should probably watch some of those home makeover shows for some tips.

    oh wait...

David Attenborough, especially the new one Africa on BBC1.

The only time I watch the channels.
